Red Riding Hood is a one of a kind cropped jacket, handcut from a 1960s East German wall tapestry. The fairy tale runs across the front, with Little Red Riding Hood and her basket on one side and the wolf watching from the forest on the other, woven in moss green, sage and russet.
The tapestry front and wide lapels are paired with soft beige sleeves, and the jacket closes with a single gold button. It is fully lined in chocolate brown.
Wear it over a slip dress, a fitted knit or a simple white tee. Because it is cut from a single tapestry, this piece can never be remade. Any small irregularities in the weave come from the original vintage textile.
It fits US sizes 2 to 4 (size S).

3. If you ever truly need a deeper clean, find a dry cleaner who specializes in vintage textiles and let them know she’s a vintage tapestry.
Handling
4. Apply perfume, lotion, and hairspray before getting dressed. These can stain the fabric or break down the fibers over time.
5. Lace her gently. Pull the cords evenly and avoid yanking — the eyelets are reinforced, but they’re still working with decades-old fabric.
Storage
6. Keep her out of direct sunlight when she’s not being worn. Vintage dyes are vibrant but they can fade over the years.
7. Hang her on a padded hanger or lay flat in a drawer — never folded sharply against the boning. A breathable cotton garment bag is perfect; avoid plastic, which traps moisture.
